1980
Planting Roots
One of the very first YWAM locations in Japan, YWAM Takatsuki operated as the headquarters of YWAM Japan.
2018
Watering the Soil
A new staff team transitioned into the base. With a heart to honor those who came before them, the team has learned from the stories and testimonies of the pioneers, and their countless hours of prayer and intercession for the community

Now, we are a community rapidly growing. We host outreach teams, train students, and have a team of long and short term staff. We strive to bless the community while we acknowledge the privilege of the rich history we’ve stepped into.

Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians, dedicated to knowing God and making Him known. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), we unite in a common purpose to serve Jesus and spread the Gospel.
